Women's Healing Place

Story:   This painting shows a women's healing ceremony. The plants along the bottom are healing plants found along the banks of the river. The small circles represent fires made for cleansing etc.
Galmuka ( Cranes )

Story:   In the Yorta Yorta language the crane is called Galmuka. The  Yorta Yorta people are river people. The tribal area runs along the Murray River system in Victoria. The Long Neck Cranes were a constant companion when fishing along the river's bank.
Outback Birthing Tree

Story:This Boab Tree was used as a Birthing Tree. The center of the tree depicts the symbol of Woman to show that is a sacred place for women. The circles around the tree tell of the many births that took place in this sacred place.
Echina

Story:  The Echidna was one of my favorite creatures to observe while in my mothers country. They were found around the foothills and sandy areas of the Great Dividing Range.
On The Banks Of The Murray

Story:Along the banks of the Murray grow flowering Gums. This 
painting shows the river and the Circle represents Cummeragunja.
Gum Trees

Story: This painting is about the Gum Trees growing along the banks 
of the river. The small circles represent the many fishing spots and camp fires from when I was a child. The large circle represents Cummeragunja.
Fleeing The Heat Of Day

Story: This painting shows Gaiyimarr fleeing the heat of the open 
plains in search of water
